Conquering the Fears Within: 6th Grade

These studio works explore the idea of fear, large and small, and how we have to be courageous, balanced, open-minded and flexible in order to face and overcome them.  Throughout the process, 6th grade students explored contour drawing, scale drawing, water color painting, photography, collage, and digital manipulation.
































The Two Sides of You: Sculptures

7th and 8th grade students created two-sided plaster sculptures. Using a variety of symbolism, side one expresses personal fears while side two metaphorically expresses how the artist faces those fears.
