The Cougar Project, Part I

Students in High School, Lower School, and Imagine will be working collaboratively to create a series of Cougars, the school mascot, in a variety of expressive styles. The first step: High School students are teaching Cotopaxi's youngest artists about color, value, texture, and pattern. Thanks to our colleague, Aljosja Roels in the lower school Art Department, for conceiving the idea. (Click here for the cougar Project Part 2Part 3Part 4, and Part 5)

"Flight Patterns" an Exhibition of Fiber Art

"Flight Patterns" was an exhibition of fiber and textile artists in Atlanta, Georgia. It's a series of inventive mixed media, mostly 3-dimensional work.  See the "Textile / Fiber" section on the right side of this site for artists' links.
